is a large sub-Saharan African bovine 'bull' aka 'cow'. Syncerus caffer, the Cape buffalo, is the typical subspecies, and the largest one, found in Southern and East Africa.

 

is one of the most successful grazers in Africa. have few predators and are capable of defending themselves

 

they're known to be grumpy and unpredictable. And they can run up to 37 miles per hour.
