Monard's reed frog or ashy reed frog, is a species of frog in the family Hyperoliidae. It is found in Angola and possibly Democratic Republic of the Congo. Its natural habitats are rivers, swamps, freshwater marshes, and intermittent freshwater marshes.

 

All Hyperolius are characterized by horizontal pupils, expanded and rounded terminal discs on the fingers and toes, hidden tympanum, smooth skin, and males having one vocal sac with an oval gular flap and free lateral and posterior margins.
